2019: Year Recap
December 26, 2019, I wake up with a cough and I immediately know I'm sick. We have a show that night at The Regent with Horse the Band and I had no idea how I was going to play as it gets worse throughout the day, I barely made it to the venue. I skip load in / sound check and I just crash on the couch in our green room until our set. I don't remember making it to the stage or playing the show but it went well from what everyone said. I was so out of it afterwards and couldn't catch my breath at the merch table, so my sister and gf Ali make the executive decision to take me to the ER. The last week has been a blur. I went back to the ER last night but I feel really good today, hope that's it.
So that's how 2019 ended for me...into a new decade where Seizures turns 10. 2019 was good. Third LP, lots of shows, and it was all fun. This was the first time I feel like I did a full proper release with my label, STR. Working with Rollie again was the best. Brad Boatright (From Ashes Rise) mastered it. I hired Justin Pearson (The Locust, Three One G) to handle the PR and he killed it. Pirates Press got us the LP's in like 2 weeks after I approved the tests. The press and response to this record has been cool. Reverie has given us some wild opportunities for next year. Thanks for supporting us and sorry it took 6 years to release a new one lol.
