2010: (sic)

It's been a minute... but we recorded our full length and we are playing in LA tonight with the homies Colombian Necktie.  Recording was too quick and frustrating for me. I've got writer's block. I have so many ideas and things to say yet I have the hardest time articulating them. I'm grateful for Albert stepping up and helping me with a lot of the lyrics on this record. I wrote the first 2 tracks myself but the rest are mostly him, and 2 from Buddy. Which is cool because it really is a band effort. Maybe I'm being too revealing about myself but I want them to have their credit.  But worst, I got sick with a throat thing the day before we started tracking drums. We did 12 songs over the span of 4 days with Alex Estrada at Earth Capital, December 9 - 12. By the 3rd day, drums, bass, and guitars had been finished and I was feeling even worse. I wanted to come back later and finish vocals but the guys insisted I push through it. I kept bags of Halls cough drops and ice

Everything came full circle for me at this show. Played with Phinehas and Division Divide (Miss Leota), they were the first two bands I really became friends with and threw me the mic to do guest vocals when I was in high school Seizures was scheduled to play 5th or 6th on the bill and somehow we almost played last. We called Colombian Necktie and told them to just come over and play, so I made an updated flyer. It ended up being fun with our friend Sean Keding filling in for Ian on bass. 2010: hot topic asked us to play a show

...in their store We just got added to a show on Saturday in Claremont. Nathan, Albert, and Ian are also playing in I Never Knew You.         I gotta mention the Hot Topic show we played last night. Our friend Seth from Every Second Counts texted us asking if we wanted to play in the store at the Hot Topic in Laguna Hills mall. I used to play Mortal Kombat 3 in the mall's arcade as a kid, it's a perfect location for us, it's free, and Every Second Counts just played there a month before and their show was nuts...so I told him we were down. Ian is working across the street right now at a Halloween store and said he would just take his lunch break to play the set then run back over as soon as we finished. A ton of friends came out, my parents showed up, and then the show started... It got crazy, fast. People moshed out the CD and clothing racks, started breaking stuff, and crowd killing. Our friends sang along to a few of our songs and the Adamantium cover we've been pla

... and it was sick Che Cafe 10/3/2010 and  impromptu  Dana Point House Show Shadows was playing in Dana Point last night, a band ft Buddy, Ian, and Nathan from Seizures. Albert and I were there to hang out and Buddy asked if we were down to do a few Seizures songs. So we borrowed their gear and played one new song after the Shadows set. It was cool to say we played 5 seconds from home and just get Harbor House after. Nathan wrote the new song for our full length that we're going to start recording in December.  Since we didn't plan to play, I made a flyer today using their album art to keep up with all our flyers I've been posting here. Here's some pictures my sister Emilee took last night Here's some more pictures Ian's gf Olivia took from our show at Che Cafe, 2 weeks ago. It's my friend Dorsey's birthday today so we're gonna go get Baja Fish Tacos. New songs are sounding sick. More shows TBA soon... - Cam
